Black Friday Mattress Dealsin Ireland (2026)
Black Friday is Friday 27 November, and the mattress sales start weeks earlier — Emma's Irish sale opens on 31 October with up to 50% off. We track every major Irish retailer in one table.
The moment each sale goes live, we add the actual euro prices — so you can see which deals genuinely beat the everyday price.
Black Friday is the one week of the year when Irish mattress prices genuinely move — but it's also the week of inflated was-prices and clearance stock dressed up as deals. This page tracks every major Irish retailer in one place: the dates that matter, what each shop is expected to do, and the actual euro prices the day each sale goes live, measured against what the same mattress cost in August.

Key Dates for Black Friday 2026
"Black Friday" in Ireland is really a month-long window. These are the dates that matter for mattress shoppers.
31 October
Emma's sale opens
Emma Ireland's Black Friday reductions start — up to 50% off, plus an extra 10% for newsletter subscribers.
23–26 November
Black Week
JYSK and most Irish retailers roll out their full Black Friday pricing in the days before the main event.
27 November
Black Friday
The main event. Deepest discounts of the year on boxed mattresses — but popular sizes sell out fast.
30 November
Cyber Monday
Usually the same prices as Black Friday, ending that night. The last call before January.

What Each Retailer Is Planning
Here's what we know so far, retailer by retailer — based on their live sale pages and how they priced Black Friday in previous years.
Emma — sale starts 31 October
Emma's Irish Black Friday page is already live and promises reductions of up to 50% on selected mattresses, beds, pillows, bundles and bedding from 31 October, with an extra 10% for newsletter subscribers. Buying on emma-sleep.ie keeps the full 200-night trial, 10-year warranty and free delivery to both ROI and NI — the sale changes the price, not the terms.
Historically, Black Friday week has been Emma's deepest discount window of the year: 50–55% off, often with free accessories bundled in. Our Emma brand guide and Emma Original review list the realistic sale bands to measure November's prices against.
JYSK and Guineys — sale pages already up
JYSK treats Black Friday as a full Black Week across mattresses, beds and bedroom furniture, in-store and on jysk.ie, backed by their 30-day price promise. Guineys already has a dedicated Black Friday beds and mattresses listing and usually competes hard at the budget end. Neither has published 2026 euro prices yet — they land in the table above the day they do.
Harvey Norman, Dreams, DFI Beds and the rest
Harvey Norman typically runs big-ticket mattress and bed reductions across the Black Friday weekend — worth watching if you want to try before you buy, though showroom tickets usually carry shorter trials than the 200-night brand-direct offers. Dreams Ireland folds Black Friday into its rolling sales-and-offers listing, and Irish manufacturer DFI Beds ran sitewide discounts last year.
One counter-example worth knowing: IKEA rarely plays the Black Friday game at all — its mattress prices stay flat year-round, but the 365-day exchange policy is the best in the market. And if you're looking for Simba: they no longer sell in Ireland at all.
How to Spot a Real Black Friday Discount
Boxed-mattress brands are "on sale" most weeks of the year, so a 50% sticker means nothing on its own. Three checks separate a genuine deal from a repriced Tuesday.

Compare the cash price, not the %
A November "50% off" is only a deal if the euro price for your size is lower than what the same mattress cost in August and September. RRPs are anchors — ignore them.
Know your EU pricing rights
EU rules require the discount to be calculated from the lowest price charged in the previous 30 days. If a listing shows only an inflated was-price, that's a red flag.
Read the trial on the actual ticket
The 200-night trial is usually brand-direct only. Marketplace and showroom tickets can be cheaper — and shorter. Check the trial, warranty and delivery on the exact ticket you pay for.
Watch out for clearance dressed up as Black Friday
Outlet stock, discontinued models and limited-size clearance often get wheeled out under Black Friday banners. They can be fine buys — but they're clearance, not this year's event pricing, and sizes are usually patchy. If you want a genuinely cheap mattress rather than leftover stock, start with our cheap mattress guide.
Also worth knowing: our Emma links carry the extra code MATTRESS10 on top of Emma's own sale pricing. Confirm it still applies at checkout before you count on it.

Bottom Line
Black Friday week is historically the cheapest window of the year to buy a boxed mattress in Ireland — but only if you know what the everyday price is. Pick your mattress now using our Ireland picks or the Emma Original review, note the current price for your size, and come back here from 31 October — we'll have the live euro prices and a straight answer on whether each deal is real.
Missed Black Friday? January is the other deep sale window — that one lives on the cheap mattress guide.
